Career and Experience

Dr. Jane Kanini Maithya is a lecturer at Murang’a University of Technology. She has a lot of experience in educational matters having started off as a high-school teacher before joining Murang’a University of Technology as a Kiswahili lecturer. She attained Bachelor of Education degree at Moi University, master’s degree at Kenyatta University and PhD in Kiswahili and Communication at Laikipia University in Kenya. In the course of her working experience she has interacted with youths and community members facing different challenges and has come in handy to assist. Her kind nature has enabled her assist such cases by offering guidance, assisting the alcoholics and drug addicts get access to rehabilitation centers, as well as offering financial support to the needy. Her passion is to have a society where the sick especially those with terminal illnesses can be enabled to access medical services and get help. We cherish her wealth of education and knowledge that she brings along to Six Bridges Foundation.
